Alpine Bakery

I have been searching high and low for an Italian bakery here in Georgia. Finally, someone recommended Alpine Bakery in Alpharetta and mentioned the owners were from New York. With my hopes high; I was so excited to go check it out since Im originally a Jersey Girl and have loved and lived around Italian Bakeries/Pastries/Bread most of my life.

I first went online to check out their web site and to my amazement it looked like what I have been used to in Jersey!

Would it compare to LaScala's or Ferrara's?
Hmm..." I thought"!

Cannolis, Napoleons, Chewy Almond Cookies and Huge Cakes galore!

Off I Go....

I arrived at Alpine Bakery/Pizza/Trattoria on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by the staff who were standing behind the enourmous cake/cookie/pie showcase of yummy deliciousness! Completely overjoyed and overwhelmed by the size of the cakes, pies and Italian pastries; I stood there for about five minutes just peering into the glass showcase of choices!

Again, the staff was friendly, patient and accomodating. The dining room was pretty busy. The smell of various foods and the beauty of the bakery just left me mesmerized

As you can see; the cakes are stacked high. Some have said that the cakes are pricy but the cakes are huge and rich and well worth the cost. The small is $38 and large is $58.

These cakes will leave you stunned!
Finally, a bakery where you can get quality made cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, pizza and other delectables!

Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse

After staring at the showcase for a few minutes I made my choice! I chose this Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse Cake. I ordered one slice that could feed about four people. The slice was $8 and well worth it! Creamy, rich and decadent

I am looking forward to going back and trying some of their Italian dishes and pizza! Of course I will be ordering another cake. The Cassata cake is next on my list! I'll be sure to edit my review and continue to let you all know about the service, food, cakes and pastries as time progresses!

For now, you can find them on Facebook! They post their daily dishes!

Sempre Famiglia, Buon Appetito e Mangiamo!
Your foodie passionista,
Jeannette
